Carroll's injury update: "We're in a pretty good shape."
Posted by Joshua Mayers
Here are some brief injury updates from coach Pete Carroll's press conference Wednesday.
* * *
WR BEN OBOMANU (knee)
"We're just going to take it all the way to game time with Ben. We're going to rest him during the week and see. We think he can play. We have to see how effective he'll be, really when we run him full speed on Sunday."
RB MARSHAWN LYNCH (ankle)
"Seems to be fine. He was fine in the walkthrough today. No problem."
CB KENNARD COX (hamstring)
"This is his chance. He's had good rest on this thing and this is about the time. He should be able to come back and practice for us this week; that's what we're counting on. He'll go into the week limited until we see what he can do."
OTHERS
"We're going to get Clinton McDonald back and should get Malcolm Smith back, as well. David Hawthorne will not get a lot of work this week -- same thing, we've been resting him quite a bit -- but he'll play. We're in a pretty good shape I think coming into this one."
