Mike Williams expected to play; Deon Butler likely won't
Posted by Danny O'Neil
The Seahawks don't plan to activate him for Sunday's game, but that doesn't mean he won't be activated as coach Pete Carroll said the deadline is Tuesday.
Mike Williams, who sat out last week's game with a sore hamstring, is expected to play. Same for Sidney Rice, who got the day off practice on Thursday. Williams led Seattle with 65 catches last season, but he has missed two of Seattle's last three games and has only caught nine passes so far this season.
Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is listed as probable, which means he's a virtual certainty to play. Just don't say he's healthy as the strained pectoral muscle he suffered a month ago is still an issue.
"He does not feel great," coach Pete Carroll said. "He's barely making it through practice, but he did. He did make it through."
Tight end Cameron Morrah (knee), defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee/hip) and LB David Vobora (calf) did not practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. If Branch can not play, Clinton McDonald will start in his play.
