Tarvaris Jackson to be QB at practice Wednesday
Posted by Danny O'Neil
He appears set to stay there this week.
Jackson will take the majority of the repetitions with Seattle's first-unit offense during Wednesday's practice, according to coach Pete Carroll.
"He'll still be on the injury list all week," Carroll said. "He's got to make it through the week, but it's much more encouraging at this time than it was at any of the last couple weeks. So that's a good deal."
Backup Charlie Whitehurst, who started the past two games, performed most of the throws during the Seahawks' walk-through Wednesday morning to save some of the wear on Jackson's arm.
Tight end Cameron Morrah will not practice Wednesday because of a sore knee, but tests did not detect structural damage to his knee. Wide receiver Mike Williams will be limited in practice because of a sore hamstring.
