Seahawks swap out kickers, add Montana RB

The Seahawks have signed Jeff Reed, veteran kicker who was with Pittsburgh until last season when he finished the year with San Francisco. To make room, the Seahawks released Wes Byrum, undrafted free agent from Auburn. Byrum Tweeted he had been released.
Also, Chase Reynolds -- a running back from Montana -- has been signed by Seattle, according to The Missoulian.
Update, 3:55 p.m.: Seattle announced six players have been signed: CB Kelly Jennings, LB Michael Johnson, TE Zach Miller, K Jeff Reed, RB Chase Reynolds, DE Jimmy Wilkerson.To make room for those players, Seattle released the following five players: DT Ladi Ajiboye, K Wes Byrum, G Michael Huey, QB Zac Lee, LB Blake Sorensen.
Also, fullback Mike Karney -- a Kentwood High School alum -- visited with the Seahawks on Wednesday. The Seahawks' interest in him will wait until after Seattle takes a look at a couple of undrafted rookie tight ends at fullback over the next few days.
