WR Deon Butler updates his recovery
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Butler suffered a broken leg last year in San Francisco, a severe injury that required him to stay in the Bay Area after the injury. He has continued his recovery, and his status will be a question when training camp begins later this week.
Butler has been able to run and cut, and he said that while he's able to run shorter routes at game speed. The longer routes?
"I haven't been able to do them at a competitive speed yet," Butler said, "But a lot of my short routes, I'm doing pretty good."
Butler estimated it could be another month before he's completely at game speed, but considering the injury occurred last December, his recovery has been quite fast.
Butler is among those players at the Seahawks' facility Tuesday, and they'll have some new teammates shortly as teams could begin signing rookies Tuesday. That's not just the draft class, but the number of undrafted free agents that are signed. Here are the list of players known to have agreed to terms with Seattle:

| QB | Josh Portis | California University (Pa.) | 6-3 | 211 | Confirmed independently |
