NFC West co-op coverage: 49ers

There is a thaw in this most glacial of NFL offseasons, and when this lockout lifts, there is going to be a flood of activity. To get ready, this week we're taking a tour around the NFC West, looking at each team through the eyes of a reporter who covers that team on a daily basis. Today's stop: San Francisco where Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area gives an analysis of the 49ers.
Up next is Jim Thomas' report from St. Louis on Wednesday. My analysis of the Seahawks will close out the tour on Thursday.
