Seahawks add Zac Robinson, Breno Giacomini to 53-man roster
Posted by Danny O'Neil
The Seahawks promoted two practice-squad players to the 53-man roster, signing Zac Robinson to serve as the back-up quarterback and tackle Breno Giacomini.
Seattle released receiver Ruvell Martin and offensive lineman Chris Center -- both of whom were signed this week -- to make room.
The addition of Breno Giacomini points to the need for a third tackle with Tyler Polumbus unlikely to play because of a knee injury and Russell Okung almost certain to miss the game because of an ankle injury.
Martin's release is a sign Mike Williams could be ready to play after the leg bruise he suffered last weekend in Oakland. Williams returned to practice Friday.
