Monday practice update

The Seahawks concluded practice. Details of the practice are now limited, according to the team's protocol for observing practice, which prohibits reporting what is seen on the field.
Coach Pete Carroll was asked after practice about the status at several positions:
• Tyler Polumbus and Chester Pitts will compete this week to see who starts at left tackle. Polumbus was acquired in a trade less than a week ago while Pitts is coming back from microfracture knee surgery. He did not play in an exhibition game.
• Justin Forsett will start at running back for the Seahawks.
• Mike Gibson will start at left guard.
