Seahawks' cuts as they come in

S Jamar Adams has been released by the Seahawks, which indicates Jordan Babineaux is very likely on the 53-man roster. Adams played well in August and was a second-team safety, but Kam Chancellor is a fifth-round pick the team saw promise in.
Updated: S Kevin Ellison and LB Matt McCoy have made the team's 53-man roster, according to sources.
Updated: Seahawks announced roster moves just before 5 p.m. Pacific:
Placed on Reserve / Injured: T Ray Willis.
Waived: S Jamar Adams, CB Marcus Brown, C Jeff Byers, G Mitch Erickson, CB Cord Parks, LB Joe Pawelek, T Jacob Phillips, DT Quinn Pitcock, RB Louis Rankin, DE Rob Rose, T Joe Toledo, TE Nick Tow-Arnett.
Terminated veterans: DT Amon Gordon, LB Tyjuan Hagler, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR Brandon Jones, QB J.P. Losman, WR Ruvell Martin, DE James Wyche.
Note: DT Jonathan Lewis was vested veteran who received injury settlement. DE Nick Reed was waived with injury settlement.
