Leroy Hill's trial scheduled to begin Thursday
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Hill appeared in court Friday afternoon in a jury call. Lynn Moberly, the prosecutor in the case, requested a material-witness warrant for the woman identified as the victim by police.
Hill was arrested in April after an altercation with his live-in girlfriend. Both Hill and the victim called police. Hill was arrested after she alleged that he had grabbed her ponytail as she ran up the stairs, pulling her to the ground. Police observed signs of injury, which she said were caused by Hill.
Hill pleaded not guilty to the charges.
