T.O.o many mentions to ignore possibility Seattle adds Owens
Posted by Danny O'Neil
This is hardly a new topic. Steve Wyche of NFL.com first mentioned a potential connection between Terrell Owens and the Seattle Seahawks months ago.
And now Owens' reality-television show has brought spotlight to the fact that the guy still doesn't have a team.
During an interview with a radio station in Nashville, he posited the theory that ESPN's characterizations of him in the past have hurt his ability to land a job this offseason. Then in an interview with a Boston radio station, he made goo-goo eyes at the Patriots.
And the Seahawks are continued to be seen as a potential landing spot for Owens. At least one person close to Owens has indicated -- anonymously -- the Seahawks are still a possibility.
Now, a few months back general manager John Schneider indicated that something "drastic" would have to happen for that to become a possibility in an appearance with KJR 950 AM in Seattle.
There is at least one person close to Owens who still sees Seattle as a potential destination so the door may not be closed on that possibility.
Now that's not exactly a shocking revelation considering the number of times Seattle has been mentioned as a candidate for T.O.'s services, but it's a situation to keep monitoring.
