Seahawks' Monday afternoon wrap-up
Jim Mora held his day-after press conference. Here are his news and notes: Center Chris Spencer and left tackle Walter Jones are expected to practice this week, but it's not clear when and even if they do whether they will be expected to play on Sunday. Linebacker Leroy Hill will be expected to be out a couple of weeks, Mora said. Hill suffered what was said to be a strained groin in Sunday's game. Asked more specifically for the injury, Mora said Monday it was something affecting the groin/lower stomach but wasn't certain of the exact terminology. Lofa Tatupu is expected to be OK after leaving Sunday's game because of a strained hamstring. Veteran tackle Damion McIntosh is expected to visit the Seahawks on Tuesday. Mora did not announce that, but it was confirmed independently. With Jones out, Seattle's No. 3 tackle right now is Brandon Frye. Defensive end Derek Walker was waived by the Seahawks to make room for D.D. Lewis. The Seahawks hope Walker clears waivers and can be assigned to the practice squad. Will Herring will start in Hill's place at outside linebacker. Lewis will serve as the No. 4 linebacker.
