Seahawks release LB Tony Taylor, sign Western Washington's Shane Simmons

Tony Taylor, a linebacker who hadn't practiced since Sunday because of a knee injury, was waived, and the Seahawks signed Shane Simmons to take his place. Simmons is from Western Washington and signed with the Oakland Raiders after going undrafted last year.
