Seahawks swap out defensive ends, signing Derek Walker and waiving Brandon Miller

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Seattle made a change to its number of defensive ends two days before training camp begins, cutting Brandon Miller and adding Derek Walker.

Miller was signed in November 2008 after being waived by Atlanta. He played one game for the Seahawks, and underwent wrist surgery over the offseason. Miller was waived with the designation of a non-football injury.

Walker is an undrafted rookie from Illinois, who originally signed with Washington, but was released on July 23.

Here's a link to Walker's profile from the University of Illinois where he played from 2005-2008.
