Seahawks camp at a glance

Meet a Seahawk

Jordan Hill

Position: Defensive tackle

Height, weight: 6-1, 303

College: Penn State.

Three questions

Any post-football goals? “I majored in recreation, parks and tourism management and I want to open up my own recreational buildings and facilities. I want to give an opportunity to kids and anybody that really needs access to that type of stuff.”

Favorite non-football sport? “Basketball. I love basketball — playing it, watching it.”

What’s your favorite player or team? “LeBron James is my favorite player. Growing up as a kid, I was always a Sacramento Kings fan. I always wanted them to beat the Lakers.”

What happened

The Seahawks had an hourlong walkthrough and didn’t wear pads or helmets. They ran through some plays in preparation for Saturday’s scrimmage.

Play of the day

About 20 minutes into practice, Marshawn Lynch walked onto the field for the first time this training camp. He didn’t participate in the walkthrough, but received a loud applause from the fans in attendance.

Injury report

Offensive linemen James Carpenter (calf) and Michael Bowie (shoulder) didn’t participate in the walkthrough, and neither did WR Kevin Norwood (foot), LB Bobby Wagner (hamstring) or DL Cassius Marsh (groin). It’s unlikely that either will participate in the scrimmage on Saturday.

Attendance 2,555

The Seahawks will scrimmage on Saturday at 1 p.m.
