Seahawks camp at a glance

Meet a Seahawk

Stephen Schilling

Position: Offensive line

Height, weight: 6-5, 312

College: Michigan

Three questions

• Biggest pet peeve? “Traffic. But I live with it.”

• Favorite movie that’s not good? “You could ask my friends: I love crappy movies. They’ve made fun of me for liking White Chicks.”

• If you had to have one meal in Seattle, where would you go? “That’s tough. I wasn’t into fine dining in high school. Usually when I’m home, I like to get teriyaki because they didn’t have teriyaki the places I’ve been.”

What happened

The Seahawks put on pads for the first time this training camp, although there wasn’t any tackling and the contact was still pretty reserved.

Play of the day

Guard James Carpenter laid an impressive block on rookie defensive lineman Cassius Marsh in which Carpenter sent the 254-pound Marsh flying backward.

Injury report

Running back Christine Michael banged up his shoulder during practice, but he is expected to be back Tuesday. WR Kevin Norwood also sat out for the second consecutive day with a sore ankle, and coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks would evaluate how he feels Tuesday. WR Percy Harvin returned to practice Sunday after sitting out Saturday. The Seahawks were just giving Harvin rest Saturday.

Attendance 2,645

The Seahawks get a day off Monday before returning to practice Tuesday.
