ST. LOUIS – Coach Jeff Fisher says the St. Louis Rams are not looking to trade quarterback Sam Bradford in order to draft Johnny Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M.

Fisher and Rams general manager Les Snead poked fun at all the rumors leading up to the draft, which starts Thursday, at a news conference Tuesday.

“No, we are not shopping Sam,” Fisher said.

St. Louis owns the second (via trade from Washington) and 13th picks in the first round.

Notes

Marcell Dareus, 24, a Pro Bowl defensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills, was arrested Monday in Cleburne County in Alabama and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

• A former New York Jets cheerleader has sued the team, claiming she and others were underpaid in violation of New Jersey state wage laws.

The cheerleader is identified in court papers as Krystal C.

California-based attorney Sharon Vinick said when unpaid hours are factored in, the $1,700 per season Jets cheerleaders made worked out to $3.77 per hour.

Similar lawsuits have been brought against the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders.
