Chat rewind with former Seahawks wide receiver & Hall of Famer Steve Largent


Steve Largent's NFL career started quietly with the Houston Oilers, but a trade led him to Seattle and when he retired he was the greatest Seahawk in franchise history and one of the greatest receivers in NFL history.

When he called it quits in 1989, he held every major NFL receiving record, including most career receptions (819), most receiving yards (13,089) and most touchdown catches (100).

Largent was the first player to enter the Seahawks' Ring of Honor and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995.

After serving as a U.S. congressman from 1994-2002, he became the president and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association, an international nonprofit membership organization that represents the wireless communications industry.
