Chat rewind with former Seahawks quarterback Jim Zorn

Jim Zorn's NFL career started slowly with the Dallas Cowboys, but after the Seahawks claimed him off waivers in 1976, he went on to become a legendary quarterback for the franchise.

In all, he played 11 NFL seasons, including nine with the Seahawks, and threw for 21,115 yards and 111 TDs.

Zorn's incredible scrambling ability and gritty play made him a fan favorite throughout his career in Seattle. In 1991, he was inducted into the Seahawks' "Ring of Honor."

After retiring, he joined the college and pro coaching ranks. In 2008-09, he was head coach of the Washington Redskins.

Zorn answered questions about his playing days in Seattle, the Seahawks' playoff run this year, his coaching career and more in a chat on Wednesday afternoon on seattletimes.com.
