Arizona is one of the hottest teams in the NFL, having won six of its past seven games to improve to 9-5, a streak that began after a 34-22 defeat against Seattle in Glendale on Oct. 17. Veteran Carson Palmer has settled in at quarterback since then, finding a good rapport with receivers Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald. And rookie Andre Ellington has emerged to give the Cardinals a more consistent running game, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Arizona’s defense has emerged as one of the best in the NFL, ranked seventh overall, allowing 322.3 yards per game. The Cardinals have been especially stingy against the run, ranked first in the NFL in rush defense at 83.2 yards a game.
