Marquand Manuel among Hawks' four new assistants
Marquand Manuel, a former safety for the Seahawks, has been hired to serve as Seattle's assistant special teams coach, one of four additions the team announced Tuesday.

Marquand Manuel, a former safety for the Seahawks, has been hired to serve as Seattle's assistant special teams coach, one of four additions the team announced Tuesday.
Manuel is one of two full-time coaches added, the other being Keith Carter, who will serve as the quality control coach for the offense.
John Glenn, a quality control coach at Washington under Steve Sarkisian the past two years, will serve as a coaching assistant, and former first-round pick Kenechi Udeze — who played under Pete Carroll at USC — was named a coaching intern who will work with the defensive line.
Udeze had been an assistant strength coach at UW.
Manuel played for Seattle in 2004 and 2005, becoming a starter during Seattle's Super Bowl season after Ken Hamlin suffered a season-ending head injury outside a Seattle nightclub.
Also, Will Lewis — the team's vice president of player personnel the past two years — is no longer with the team. He had spent 12 years with the Seahawks and had one year remaining on his contract.
