Seattle Times staff reporter
Raheem Brock, Seahawks defensive end, was arrested in Seattle early on Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The arrest was confirmed by Trooper Julie Startup of the Washington State Patrol. Brock, 32, was pulled over at about 3 a.m. Saturday morning on the 45th Ave. NE overpass of Interstate 5. He was not booked into jail, but was instead released pending charges.
Brock played in Seattle's game Sunday in Arizona, but did not have a tackle. The team is aware of the arrest, but the club generally does not comment on pending matters.
Brock could not be reached for comment, as he was not in the locker room when it opened to reporters after Sunday's game.
Brock, in his ninth NFL season, was signed by Seattle the week before the regular season started after he was released by Tennessee. He has played in every game for the Seahawks this season and has 13 tackles and three sacks.
