Rewind: Chat with Seahawks broadcaster Warren Moon
Following a decorated collegiate and professional football career, Warren Moon turned to broadcasting and is currently in his seventh season as color commentator on radio for Seahawks games.
A standout at the University of Washington, Moon cemented his place in Husky lore with an upset 27-20 victory over Michigan in the 1978 Rose Bowl.
He went on to play six seasons in the CFL, where he led the Edmonton Eskimos to five straight Grey Cup titles.
With his success in Canada, Moon finally got a chance to play in the NFL in 1984 when he was signed by the Houston Oilers.
He spent 17 seasons in the NFL, playing for four teams, including the Seahawks in 1997-98. He was named to nine Pro Bowls and ranks in the top three all-time in 11 categories in the NFL record books. The legendary QB was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
Moon talked about the Seahawks, Huskies and a variety of football topics in a live chat on Sept. 15.
