Players of the Game
Bucs QB Jeff Garcia: The veteran signal caller torched the Seahawks for 226 passing yards — in the first half. He finished 27 of 36 for 310 yards and a touchdown.
Bucs WR Antonio Bryant: Six catches for 115 yards and a 47-yard touchdown.
Bucs LB Barrett Rudd: Finished with six solo tackles, one for loss, plus a fumble recovery.
Seahawks LB D.D. Lewis: Filling in for the injured Lofa Tatupu and playing with a sore knee, Lewis finished with 11 total tackles.
Play of the Game
Garcia lofted a deep ball on third-and-seven from the Seattle 47-yard line, connecting with Bryant for a touchdown after Seahawks cornerback Kelly Jennings fell down in one-on-one coverage. The first-quarter play was the game's opening score, and the Buccaneers never looked back.
Turning Point
Another game, another big holding call against Seahawks left guard Mike Wahle. The score was still 7-0 in the second quarter when T.J. Duckett ran for 21 yards on third-and-two. But Wahle was flagged, the second time a big run was negated in the past two games, and the Seahawks were eventually forced to punt from their own 12-yard line. The Buccaneers scored a touchdown on the following possession, taking a 14-0 lead.
Sunday's Seahawks Surprises
• Punt returner Justin Forsett, making his Seahawks debut, returned one punt 24 yards in the third quarter to set up an Olindo Mare field goal.
• CB Josh Wilson recovered a fumble and had a 61-yard kickoff return.

• Running back Maurice Morris, playing in just his third game of the season because of injury, broke off a 45-yard run in the third quarter and was the Seahawks' leading rusher with 56 yards. The one run was longer than the Seahawks' total-yardage output in the first half, 44.
• Mare, a perfect 10 for 10 entering the game, hit his first field goal try from 26 yards. The second, from 38 in the third quarter, was wide left for his first miss of the season.
By the Numbers
1 Number of first downs for the Seahawks in the first half.
8.3 QB Seneca Wallace's quarterback rating in the first half.
12-23, 73 yards Wallace's final numbers, with one TD and one thrown interception.
Injury Report
Seahawks: LB Lofa Tatupu left the game in the second quarter with a concussion and didn't return, but coach Mike Holmgren expects him to be OK. Lewis injured his left leg in the first quarter on special teams, but returned.
Buccaneers: WR Ike Hilliard left the game on a cart in the second quarter after taking a hard shot under the chin from Seahawks LB Leroy Hill. Hilliard appeared unconscious after the hit but got up on his own.
