Demong chosen as Closing Ceremony flagbearer

WHISTLER -- Nordic combined athlete Bill Demong, on the same night he won the nation's first Olympic gold medal in a nordic event and proposed to his girlfriend, former skeleton slider Katie Koczynski, was informed that he'd been chosen by his teammates as the flag bearer for Sunday's closing ceremony.

All things considered, a pretty big day.
