A look at past U.S. alpine medalists

Julia Mancuso's third medal, the first such distinction for an American woman, brings to mind other U.S. Olympic alpine history. Bode Miller achieved the same three-medal mark for men in last week's men's downhill.

Here's a look at prior medalists, in no particular order. Apologies in advance if we left someone out:
