Billy Idol watch: Update on the campaign to bring 80s rockstar to Seattle

In December, we introduced you to Michael Henrichsen of Bothell, who turns 25 in 266 days and has launched a online campaign to get Billy Idol to play his birthday party.
Since our initial post, Henrichsen's website Play My Birthday Billy Idol has been featured on many local news outlets, its Facebook page has grown and he has announced a benefit concert.
But there still is no confirmation that Idol himself will perform at Henrichsen's birthday party.
Since we noticed a good amount of interest in this story, here's a quick progress report:
Seattle Seahawk Marcus Trufant has endorsed the cause:
An 80s dance night, Billy Idol Aid, was announced:
The event will raise money for Northwest Harvest and aims to catch Idol's attention. It's Feb. 24 at Nectar Lounge in Fremont.
And Henrichsen took his campaign to the ice:
