Attention, Molly Moon ice-cream fans: Watch for the blue truck
Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is taking 10 flavors on the road, on routes chosen by customers.
Molly Moon truck
Two weeks ago, the folks behind Molly Moon's ice cream asked locals which neighborhoods its new ice-cream truck should hit, starting Monday.
Maple Leaf was among the early favorites. Until folks in Ballard chimed in. The correct answer is — duh! — Upper Queen Anne. But I digress. Make your request by twittering @mollymoon or comment on Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream's Facebook page.
The routes were scheduled to be posted at mollymoonicecream.blogspot.com. More routes and stops will be added.
The blue truck will sell ice-cream sandwiches with Theo Chocolate praline-style cookies, and also cones and sundaes from a menu of 10 flavors. The truck will also be parked at the Bellevue Farmers Market, First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way N.E., on Thursdays, and at Theo Chocolate, 3400 Phinney Ave. N., in Fremont 3-5 p.m. Fridays.
