Seattle bar Vessel turns 3 with a party
Seattle bar Vessel celebrates its third anniversary with an all-star bartender party.
You won't have to worry about cocktail geeks hogging your local bars to watch Monday Night Football. They will all be at Vessel. The swanky downtown cocktail lounge will celebrate its third anniversary Monday by bringing in some of the city's top talents to be guest bartenders for the night.
It's an all-star lineup, featuring bartenders from Liberty, Sun Liquor, Spur Gastropub, Rob Roy and Naga Cocktail Lounge in Bellevue, all making their signature cocktails. Also scheduled to appear is Jay Kuehner of Sambar in Ballard, one of the most talented bartenders on the West Coast.
You might have to elbow out some cocktail geeks to get a seat at the bar, though. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the pouring goes until 1 a.m.
Vessel, 1312 Fifth Ave., 206-652-0521 or www.vesselseattle.com.
