Reign FC remains unbeaten

Nahomi Kawasumi scores two goals and Kim Little also scores for the Reign, now 8-0-2.

Nahomi Kawasumi scored two goals and the Seattle Reign FC stayed unbeaten with a 3-1 victory over Sky Blue FC in a National Women’s Soccer League match in Piscataway, N.J., Sunday.

Reign FC, coming off back-to-back ties, improves to 8-0-2 and is seven points ahead of the second-place Chicago Red Stars.

Kim Little gave the Reign a 2-1 lead on a free kick at 52:27.

Kawasumi tied the score at 1-1 at 49:50 and also scored the Reign’s final goal at 73:09.
