2-0 victory keeps Reign FC unbeaten

Naho Kawasumi has a goal and an assist to improve Seattle to 4-0 in NWSL play.

Naho Kawasumi scored once and assisted on another goal and the Seattle Reign stayed undefeated with a 2-0 victory over Sky Blue FC on a rainy Wednesday night in Piscataway, N.J.

A crowd of 582 at Yurcak Field saw Reign FC (4-0) continue its strong start with its third shutout of the season. Hope Solo saved a penalty kick late in the second half to keep Sky Blue FC (0-2-2) scoreless.

Kawasumi opened the scoring in the 24th minute and assisted on Beverly Goebel’s goal in the 50th minute.
