Here are recent home sales in the jumbo-loan category in Kirkland, Ballard, Fremont, Issaquah, Green Lake and Maple Valley.

Historic low mortgage rates have made it possible for the "move up" buyer to snag a larger home while taking less of a hit when it comes time to take out a jumbo loan.
In the Seattle-Bellevue-Tacoma-Everett area, home buyers can borrow up to $567,500 before falling into the jumbo loan category. In the rest of King and Pierce counties, the limit is $271,050. In Kitsap County, the loan limit is $475,000.
These homes recently sold in the $500,000-to-$750,000 price range.
