Obama to visit Seattle area Sept. 25

Posted by Jim Brunner

President Obama has scheduled a return to the Seattle area on Sept. 25 as part of a West Coast swing, according to a White House official.

The President plans to visit both the Seattle and San Francisco Bay area that day, and will continue his trip with visits to San Diego and Los Angeles on Sept. 26 and the Denver area on Sept. 27, before returning to Washington, D.C.

Obama last visited Seattle in October 2010 for a "backyard chat" at a Wedgwood home, followed by a campaign rally at the University of Washington for U.S. Sen. Patty Murray.

No word yet on whether Obama's September visit will include any public appearances.
