Palin lends Didier her voice

Sarah Palin didn't find time to visit Washington to personally campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Clint Didier, as he'd hoped.
But Palin has lent her voice to a last-minute flurry of Didier robo calls.
The Didier campaign says it's hitting about 500,000 voters across the state with a recorded telephone message from Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential nominee.
In the message, Palin calls Didier a "new kind of Republican" and "a true conservative dedicated to our nation's bedrock pinciples of limited government."
She adds: "Unlike establishment candidates who just talk about lower taxes, Clint has signed a pledge to do so."
Votes in the Senate primary will be counted Tuesday, Aug. 17.
