Candidates making late pushes across Indiana

Candidates are crisscrossing Indiana on the last weekend before Election Day, pushing to get supporters to the polls and making some of their final arguments to undecided voters.

INDIANAPOLIS —

Candidates are crisscrossing Indiana on the last weekend before Election Day, pushing to get supporters to the polls and making some of their final arguments to undecided voters.

Republican Dan Coats and Democrat Brad Ellsworth are rallying volunteers Saturday as they encourage supporters to vote in their race for U.S. Senate.

Congressional candidates facing tough races are also busy. Democratic Rep. Baron Hill says he believes talk of big Republican gains has motivated Democrats in southern Indiana. Republican candidate Jackie Walorski says intensity is high in northern Indiana with her party's message of changing Washington.

Republicans have spent millions trying to win back three Indiana congressional seats they lost in 2006.
