Steamrollin' prints

ALAN BERNER / THE SEATTLE TIMES

Freshly lifted off their linoleum cut, members of KeeganMeegan & Co. carry their oversize print to be attached to a fence for drying and display at the Wayzgoose & Steamroller Smackdown, part of the South Lake Union Block Party on Friday. The School of Visual Concepts puts on the smackdown, where 12 teams are competing. A 4,000-pound steamroller is used to make the impression from linocut to paper. Seattle firm Ten Gun Design was the Smackdown winner.
