Memorial Day observance at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery

Volunteers include cub and boy scouts, churches, local organizations and individuals who came to Evergreen Washelli early Monday morning on Memorial Day to place a flag on each grave of a veteran.

Colter Good, 7, is among the scores of volunteers who came to Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Washelli on Memorial Day to place about 5,000 flags, one at each grave. Scouts, churches, local organizations and families came early Monday morning to place the flags. Colter is with Cub Pack 75 in Seattle.
