Thor, a retired explosives-detection dog, arrives at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Thursday after flying from North Carolina accompanied by Kathileene Anderson of Mission K9 Rescue. Thor trained and served with Marine Corps veteran Deano Miller in Afghanistan and is being reunited with him after four years apart. Miller, of Tacoma, is adopting the 7-year-old Labrador.

Deano Miller and Thor are surrounded by members of the American Humane Association and the Mission K9 Rescue, the organizations that made it possible for them to be reunited, and the media. Upon Thor's arrival, there were so many members of the media greeting him he wasn't sure which way to turn and checked out most of them.
