It's called the "Extreme Scream" for good reason as it rockets (from left) Kari Hutchens, Maddie Russell and Jessica Roberts up 20 stories with three G's of force on Friday. The ride costs $10, and many who spend the money say it's the best ride at the Spring Fair in Puyallup. "Your heart drops," says Russell.

On the other hand, hypnotist Tammy Barton has her subjects from the audience all at rest and under her spell. The Spring Fair continues through Sunday.
