Seahawks cheer at Children's Hospital

ERIKA SCHULTZ / THE SEATTLE TIMES

Emily Sayers, 9, holds the hand of her 7-month-old sister, Abigail Sayers, at Seattle Children's hospital on Tuesday. Abigail, born at 24 weeks, has undergone five brain surgeries, four cardiac arrests and breathes through a tracheostomy tube. "Christmas is a time about giving and caring for others," Emily said. "I feel bad for her that she's in the hospital." Abigail's mother and father, Mindie and Chris, and siblings Liz, 11, Emily and Eli, 2, spent Christmas Eve holding and talking to the little girl and adorned her in Seahawks gear. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, his wife, Ashton Wilson, and performer Macklemore visited earlier this month.
