A coho does a little people watching

Visitors to the Issaquah hatchery are reflected in a fish-viewing window as a salmon passes by on Saturday. Coho are still migrating through the hatchery to spawning grounds up Issaquah Creek, and the migration will likely continue until the end of the month. Spawning statistics for the year here include more than 10,000 coho trapped, yielding over one million eggs, and more than 2,400 Chinook trapped, yielding more than 1.7 million eggs. More than 1,700 coho have passed upstream, including this fish, and one rainbow trout.
