ERIKA SCHULTZ / THE SEATTLE TIMES

Mumina Hussein, from left, Ramla Omar and Anab Adan listen to Abdulwali Abdullahi about fundraising efforts at the non-profit Raja for Africa in Rainier Valley Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013. Local Somalis, mostly women, fundraised about $5,800 for Raja for Africa to send money to their Garowe, Somalia office for relief efforts aiding cyclone victims who recently lost their homes, livestock and local infrastructure. Fundraising efforts throughout local organizations and mosques will continue for upcoming weeks. "It's horrible," Omar said. "We should all feel bad for them, because it could happen to us any minute, anywhere."
