Francesca Leonetti, of Seattle, in red and blue, jumps into Lake Washington for the 2013 International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics open water swim on Mercer Island Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013. The open water swim, which hosted more than 100 people for one and two-mile races, was the culminating event of the six day IGLA Championships. Seattle's Orca Swim Team sponsored overall event. Leonetti said she enjoys the freedom of open water swimming. "There is nothing cooler than seeing Mount Rainier or fish underneath you," she said.
