Patriots make Seafair debut

Steve Diethelm polishes the fuselage of one of the Patriots Jet Team aircraft. Diethelm is a volunteer aircraft maintenance tech with the Patriots Jet team. The Patriots are the replacement aerobatic team for the Blue Angels. The six Patriot planes are Czech L-39c Albatross single engine jets with 3,800 pounds of thrust.

Scott "Banker" Ind is a pilot with the Patriots Jet Team. In 2000, he was a Blue Angels pilot and few over Lake Washington for Seafair.
