Ready to abide at this year's Dudestock

ALAN BERNER / THE SEATTLE TIMES

It's a good thing Camano Island artist Mike Coslor, right, is not entered in this year's Dudestock at the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon. Because Coslor, the film fan and creator of the sculpture at left, would win again. Coslor's mixed-media piece captures the image of "the Dude," a character played by actor Jeff Bridges in the film, "The Big Lebowski." The 275-pound sculpture is made of papier-mâché, secondhand clothes, human hair and concrete. Dudestock, celebrating all things related to the 1998 cult film, begins at 8 p.m. Saturday. Meanwhile, the Dudes abide.
