The Viking Closes in Ballard

For the last quarter century, Cannon and her husband Tim Cannon have owned the neighborhood tavern. "There is nothing else to do here but socialize with people over a beer," said Downey. "It's a family bar. It's really sad this place is closing." The Viking with close its doors for the last time in the early hours of May 1.
