David Judah, 3, takes a string of trout from Chuck Carlson of Auburn, his "adopted" grandfather, during the 11th annual Hooked On Fishing Opening Day Trout Derby on Lake Wilderness in Maple Valley, Saturday April 27, 2013. David and his family used to live in Bonney Lake, but have since moved to Tennessee. They came back specifically so "Papa" Carlson could take David for his first fishing trip. "I feel fortunate to be able to have that," Carlson said of the experience. David's father said that he was so excited leading up to the trip, he had been practicing his fishing skills in the sink.
