The Great Wheel lit up orange in support of cancer research

DEAN RUTZ / THE SEATTLE TIMES

During the month of April, several buildings across the Seattle skyline will light up "Obliteride orange" in solidarity with the effort to end cancer. On Friday night, it was The Great Wheel that had the honor against a cold gray and rainy sky, as seen from this view from Alki. Obliteride is an effort to raise funds for cancer research that includes a bike ride in August.
