Getting oars in order

In a steady drizzle and breezy conditions, Green Lake crew members get ready for a practice Tuesday in preparation for Saturday's Spring Regatta. Even on land, rowers have to watch their step. On Saturday nearly 1,000 junior rowers and 18 visiting teams will race on the lake, with competition starting at 7:30 a.m. For a complete race schedule, see greenlakecrew.org.
