The St. Baldrick's Foundation, a childhood-cancer research organization, holds head-shaving fundraiser events close to St. Patrick's Day. The foundation funds the most promising research to help find cures for kids with cancer. It allows physicians and scientists to continue their work with the money raised with St. Baldrick's events like this one.
